Mystic Curling Club
Bring the ice sport of curling to your tabletop, with dice! In the dexterity game Mystic Curling Club, instead of 44 pounds of granite down a 150 foot sheet of ice, you'll be sliding shiny 12-sided dice down a three-foot board trying to reach the center of the rings. As in the sport of curling, you can bump opposing stones, throw guard stones to defend your own, and mix strategy with skill to win.
But Mystic Curling Club isn't just dice curling; it's magical dice curling. Each player chooses a witch and her familiar to lead their curling team. On certain shots, you'll be able to change the playing field: adding, moving, or even removing stones!
Welcome to the magical spin on everyone’s favorite stones-go-bonk sport: Curling! Asmadi loves the game and has distilled the fun experience of sliding 44-pound granite stones down 150 feet of ice to fit on a board deployed to your table with dice that slide and go clack when they inevitably collide.
But what about the sweeping? As much as they wanted to include tiny brooms to go swoosh-swoosh, they decided to use the concept of enchanted brooms instead. So all of the curlers in Asmadi's game - members of the Mystic Curling Club, are witches! Each Witch and Familiar pair has a set of 8 spells that will enhance your strategies and shots.
Mystic Curling Club takes 2-5 players and games last from 20-45 minutes, depending on how many rounds (or “Ends” as they’re known in Curling) you decide to play.
