Voracious and unrelenting, these enormous insects let nothing stand in their way. With their powerful mandibles, giant ants can chew through leather, wood, and even metal armor. When giant ants find their prey nothing is wasted. All living matter is harvested, dismembered, and brought back to the nest to nourish the brood and the gigantic queen.

A week ago today, the Tinkettle Mining company stumbled upon an unknown tunnel system while prospecting for copper. When the gnome miners investigated, they were set upon by droves of giant ants. The foregnome, Oska Tinkettle, is desperately seeking a band of adventurers to exterminate the ants.
