Created in June of 2010 on a beautiful summer day, this photo captures a typically crowded afternoon in Times Square. Times Square appears canyon-like in this image, with a checkerboard time effect: day and night alternate throughout the image. Everything in the shadows of the buildings is night and everything in the sunlight is day.
