Friday Night Magic - Commander

What Happens Here?

Open to all players and running each Friday night, "FNM" is a chance to catch up with your friends, make new ones and of course, play some Magic!

What is the Format?

The format for this event is Commander. The Commander format is all about picking your hero and building a deck around them. In this casual, multiplayer format, you choose a legendary creature to serve as your commander and build the rest of your deck around their color identity. More information on the Commander format can be found on the Wizards of the Coast website.

Are There Prizes?

Yes. Each participating player will receive one prize pack. In addition, the last standing player in each Pod will receive a limited edition promotional card. Players in each Pod will also vote to recognize one player with the "Honor of the Peers" award, which will grant that player an additional promo pack.

What do I Bring?

Each player should bring their own Commander deck to play, and score pad to keep track of life totals is also necessary. Sleeves, deck boxes and counters are optional.

Each player will need to register in the Wizards Eventlink.  Your Eventlink ID could be your Magic Companion ID or Arena ID. If you do not have either of these, our Wizardlings can help you get set up an account and enrolled in the event. Or you can register online here.
