Papo France: Medieval - Knight at the Tournament
Upon the announcement of his coat of arms, the knight in the tournament enters the lists at a walk and joins the other competitors. Appearing in the Middle Ages in the West, tournaments replaced wars and consisted of a series of trials. They were an opportunity for knights to prove their worth, but also, for the strongest, to enrich themselves.
